Dear Sir,
Going through an old newspaper pile looking for a none-done Sudoku puzzle, I stumbled across the article "Genesis Of A New Exodus" by Becky Batcha (Philadelphia Inquirer, April 14th, pgs. 33-34).
From said article:
"The first of the 'Four Questions' that Jewish children recite after festive seder meal, for example, always went as follows in the Maxwell House script: 'Wherefore is this night distinguished from all other nights?'
"In the streamlined update, it's 'Why is this night different from all others?'"
Questions: Doesn't this translation/update seem over-baked and only half correct? Shouldn't it be "Why and with whom is this night distinguished from all other nights?"
Sincerely,
(Name Redacted)
