Sept. 2025 Grand Sumo Tournament
After the July tournament in Nagoya, the fifth Grand Sumo Tournament returns to Tokyo. This 15-day event is a part of a six-tournament series that occurs annually in Japan.
Tokyo Venue: Ryogoku Kokugikan
When: Sept. 14th - Sept. 28th 2025
Note: Daily 30 minute match highlights will air four times per day: 12:30pm, 7:30pm, 12:30am, & 4:30am on the NHK Network (locally - channels 23.2/52.2 via 'ota' antenna tv Philadelphia)

July 2025 Grand Sumo Tournament
The Nagoya Sumo Tournament (Nagoya Basho) will be held from July 13 - July 27, 2025, at the IG Arena in Nagoya. This is one of the six major sumo tournaments (honbasho) held annually in Japan. The tournament will feature 15 days of competition with wrestlers competing in a round-robin style within their respective divisions.
